Abstract:
To more appropriately monitor a passenger.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device comprises: a video acquisition unit which is arranged in a cabin of a vehicle to acquire a video 50 photographed by a photographing unit which photographs the inside and outside of the cabin of the vehicle from forward to backward of the vehicle; a reference point detection unit which detects a reference point position 54 at the back of the vehicle from the video 50 acquired by the video acquisition unit; a passenger detection unit which detects a face position 56 of a passenger of the vehicle from the video 50 acquired by the video acquisition unit; and a reference direction calculation unit which calculates a direction going from the reference point position 54 detected by the reference point detection unit to the face position 56 detected by the passenger detection unit as a forward reference direction 58 of the passenger.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
