Abstract:
To more appropriately control the limitation of voice guidance.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device includes: a communication unit that acquires traffic information from an external device; a route search unit that searches for a recommended route; a voice guidance control unit that makes a setting to limit the output of voice guidance in a predetermined case; and a voice guidance unit that, in a case where a setting not to limit the output is made, outputs voice guidance performed when re-search of the recommended route is performed and the predetermined voice guidance. The voice guidance control unit changes to the setting not to limit the output of the voice guidance in a case where the setting to limit the output of the voice guidance is made, when the recommended route is re-searched for caused by detection of an event in which traveling occurring on the recommended path should be avoided based on the traffic information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
