To provide a vehicle display device correctly reducing electromagnetic noise.
The vehicle display device is equipped with: a wire earth 36 connected to a meter control circuit part 40 and applying an earth voltage to the circuit part 40; a liquid crystal box body 55 connected to the meter control circuit part 40, connected to an earth bracket 23 comprising a conductive material and applying the earth voltage to the circuit part 40; a detection resistor 34a connected to a vehicle power source 27; a detection terminal 60 connected to the detection resistor 34a, applied with a power source voltage, connected to the earth bracket 23 according to specification of the vehicle and applied with the earth voltage; the meter control circuit part 40 connected to the detection terminal 60, detecting the voltage between the detection resistor 34a and the earth bracket 23 and determining existence of the earth bracket 23 based on the detection result; and a liquid crystal panel 32 for informing abnormality when non-existence of the earth bracket 23 is determined by the meter control circuit part 40.
