An electronic control device 52 makes change in boost pressure Pcmout slower, as a pressure difference PGcmout between boost pressure Pcmout of a supercharger 54 and target suction pressure PTcmout is larger, as compared with a case in which selected throttle opening characteristics are not switched when switching the throttle opening characteristics selected out of a plurality of predetermined throttle opening characteristics to characteristics on a side where throttle opening θth becomes larger than the selected throttle opening characteristics. Therefore, the electronic control device 52 can suppress abrupt change in driving force Fc as compared with a case in which the change in boost pressure Pcmout is not made slower even if a rise in a boost pressure occurs as the selected throttle opening characteristics are switched when the selected throttle opening characteristics are switched.
