To stabilize an acceleration feeling relevant to an accelerator opening and a deceleration feeling relevant to engine brake-equivalent regenerative torque in an electric vehicle, irrespective of arbitrary weight.
A vehicle driving force control unit includes: a motor 16 mounted on a vehicle and connected to an axle; a load weight detection unit (vehicle weight sensor 11) that detects a load weight loaded on the vehicle; and a motor control unit (ECU 13 and motor driving control circuit 15) that performs torque control of the motor 16 within a range of a torque line defining a maximum torque value of the motor 16. The motor control unit calculates a first weight value to be obtained by adding up predefined vehicle weight and the load weight detected by the load weight detection unit, and a second weight value to be obtained by adding up the vehicle weight and predefined weight which can be loaded on the vehicle, and uses a vehicle driving force control unit which corrects the torque line using a correction value obtained by dividing the first weight value by the second weight value, to stabilize an acceleration feeling relevant to an accelerator opening or a deceleration feeling relevant to engine brake-equivalent regenerative torque.
