To provide a vehicle fall prevention device capable of simply and quickly taking a fall prevention measure of a worker without being affected by surrounding circumstances and a work environment in work at a high place on a vehicle.
A horizontal member 2 is built across a plurality of props 1 attached to a vehicle 100 or the two or more parts of its luggage carrier 101, the horizontal member 2 is extended in the horizontal direction above the vehicle 100 or the luggage carrier 101, and the horizontal member 2 is provided with a safety belt mooring part 3. There is provided a lifeline 7 for connecting a safety belt 4, which is attached to the body of a worker P, to the safety belt mooring part 3. The safety belt mooring part 3 is displaceably locked with the horizontal member 2, is guided by the horizontal member 2, and is movable in the way to follow movements of the worker. Props 1a, 1b contract so that they are stored below the maximum height of the vehicle 100.
