The vehicle (10) having the automatic stop function of the engine (38) includes a vehicle speed detecting means (112) for detecting a vehicle speed, a throttle valve opening detecting means (114) for detecting the throttle opening of a throttle valve (100), an operation quantity detecting means (70) for detecting an operation quantity of brake operation pieces (66 and 68), and a control means (28) for restarting the engine (38) when the operation quantity becomes a first set value (V1) or smaller, and exceeds the first set value (V1) again thereafter and the throttle opening exceeds a second predetermined opening (θ2), in an automatic stop state of the engine (38).
