Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information storage device capable of reducing data corruption and the occurrence of a failure of a device.SOLUTION: A vehicle display device (vehicle information storage device) 100 is provided in which a vehicle information acquisition unit 12 obtaining vehicle information, a control unit 11, and an internal storage unit 15 are at least stored in a housing 16 and an external storage device 200 is removably connected to the control unit 11. The control unit 11 executes: recognition processing for recognizing the external storage device 200 in response to input of a predetermined storage start instruction signal; temporary storage processing for temporarily storing the vehicle information in the internal storage unit 15 at a first cycle; and write processing for writing the vehicle information stored in the internal storage unit 15 in the external storage device 200 recognized by the recognition processing at a second cycle longer than the first cycle. Further, the control unit executes cancellation processing for cancelling the recognition of the external storage device 200 in response to input of a predetermined storage end instruction signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
