Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake structure which inhibits an intake temperature rise and prevents water from entering into an engine at the time of flooding.SOLUTION: A vehicle intake structure includes: an outer air introduction port provided at a vehicle front end part; a heat exchanger provided behind the outer air introduction port; a fan provided behind the heat exchanger; a suction hole provided at a front upper part of the heat exchanger; a seal structure which covers an area from the outer air introduction port to the heat exchanger excluding the suction hole over vertical and lateral directions in an air-tight manner; and a suction passage which connects the suction hole with an air cleaner. An inlet of the suction passage and the suction hole are offset from each other, and a drain port is provided at an upper space of the suction hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
