Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of the kind of a train and the kinds of respective vehicles constituting the train visually in an easy-to-see state even when the shape and paint of the train are the same or nearly the same by providing a light projecting means which irradiates the train flank with beltlike light.
SOLUTION: The flank 5A of a train 5 stopping by a platform 6 is irradiated with beltlike light by light projecting means 2A to 2C as shown by an irradiation place 5B. The light projecting means 2A to 2C are constituted by using lighting equipment, etc., and, for example, equipped with filters to project light of more than one color. Further, the light projecting means 2A to 2C are provided with slits 3a to 3c and emit the beltlike light through the slits 3a to 3c. Thus, the light projecting means 2A to 2C irradiate out-of-service trains and trains in service with light of different colors and also irradiate express trains, way trains, and other trains with light of different colors based upon the train kinds.
