Title:
VEHICLE LIGHTING FIXTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014099280
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve such a problem that emission light which is not subjected to light distribution control is emitted from a division difference surface, in a conventional vehicle lighting fixture.

A vehicle lighting fixture includes a lens 2 and a semiconductor type light source 3. The lens 2 is composed of one incident surface and emission surfaces 21 to 29 which are divided into nine pieces by division difference surfaces 2L, 2R, 2U, 2D. The lower emission surfaces 24, 25, 26 or 27, 28, 29 of the nine emission surfaces 21 to 29 are located closer to the light emission direction side than the upper emission surfaces 21, 22, 23 or 24, 25, 26. Emission light emitted from the horizontal division difference surfaces 2U, 2D is subjected to light distribution control by the horizontal division difference surfaces 2U, 2D which are inclined downward from the above, is refracted downward with respect to the optical axis of the lens 2 and is emitted.
