Title:
VEHICLE LIGHTING FIXTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014099281
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve such a problem that a structure of an incident surface of a lens is complicated and the most intense light of light from a light source does not contribute to light distribution, in the conventional vehicle lighting fixture.

A vehicle lighting fixture includes a lens 2 and a semiconductor light source 3. The lens 2 is composed of one incident surface 20 and emission surfaces 21 to 29 which are divided into nine pieces by division difference surfaces 2L, 2R, 2U, 2D. The division difference surfaces 2L, 2R, 2U, 2D of the nine emission surfaces 21 to 29 are disposed on portions except the portion where the semiconductor light source 3 is located. As the result, a structure of the incidence surface 20 of the lens 2 is simple and the most intense light of light from the semiconductor light source 3 can contribute to light distribution.
