Abstract:
To reduce the possibility of a collision between a manual driving vehicle and an automatic driving vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle management system manages vehicles in a management area via communication. The vehicle management system acquires first vehicle information indicating at least a position of a first vehicle which can switch between automatic operation and manual operation. The vehicle management system also acquires second vehicle information indicating at least a position of a second vehicle which performs at least automatic operation. The vehicle management system determines whether or not the possibility of a collision of the first vehicle in manual operation and the second vehicle in automatic operation exceed a first threshold value on the basis of the first vehicle information and the second vehicle information. If the possibility of a collision exceeds the first threshold value, the vehicle management system instructs the first vehicle in manual operation to limit traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
