Title:
ON-VEHICLE MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007093389
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an on-vehicle measuring instrument for minimizing the effect of lateral forces owing to thermal expansion or torsion on load cells during measurements, keeping its manufacturing cost rather low, and further, eliminating the need to adjust gaps when disposing a movement restricting device while measuring the weight of a container including housed matters with satisfactory measurement accuracy.

A measuring section which has a spherical convex section, a spherical concave section, and a stopper, is used as one measuring section 15A, and a measuring section in which a rocker pin having an automatic alignment function is interposed, is used as another measuring section 15B. A tightening device 20 is brought to carry out its tightening operation when a vehicle travels, thereby preventing a tank 3 from separating from a vehicle frame 5. On the contrary, the testing/firming is canceled during the measurement. Therefore, even if deformations occur due to a mount plane or a thermal difference between the tank 3 and the vehicle frame 5, the negative effect of the deformations on the measurement can be minimized by changing the attitude of the rocker pin, and the measurement can be carried out accurately.
