A vehicle minimum ground clearance measuring apparatus includes a body unit (1) having a handle section (2) disposed at one end, and having a horizontal bottom surface as an installation surface. On a surface of a handle side end part, a holder (5) for fixing a laser measuring unit (4) is disposed. On the other side of the body unit (1), a reflection mirror (11) is arranged for reflecting a laser beam in a vertical direction toward a bottom surface of the body, the laser beam being irradiated from the laser measuring unit (4) in a horizontal direction. A difference between a horizontal distance from a reference surface of the laser measuring unit (4) to an irradiation position on the reflection mirror (11) and a height of the laser beam irradiated from the laser measuring unit (4) to the installation surface is set to a predetermined value in advance.
