Abstract:
To reduce a delay time due to the activation of a zone ECU.SOLUTION: A vehicle network system 1 includes a zone ECU that is placed in each of a plurality of zones in a vehicle and controls a device installed in the corresponding zone, and a central ECU 13 that controls the zone ECU in an integrated manner. Each of the zones ECU is configured to be able to switch between a startup state which is a normal operating state, and a sleep state which consumes less power than the startup state. Various pieces of information related to the control of each device is transmitted between each of the zones ECU and the central ECU 13 via a backbone communication line 26 for performing non-bus type communication. Start-up information for switching the zone ECU to the start-up state is transmitted between the zone ECUs via an auxiliary communication line 28 for bus-type communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
