Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle operation auxiliary device for performing operation reaction control and brake/drive force control in order to prevent the operation of an operator from being hindered according to the surrounding circumstances of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: This controller calculates a contact risk potential and a normal risk potential in respective regions where the possibility of the contact of its own vehicle with a front obstacle is high and low. Then, the controller calculates an operation reaction command value and a repulsive force for braking/driving force correction based on the contact risk potential and the normal risk potential. When the obstacle state of its own vehicle is shifted from the region where the possibility of the contact is low to the region where it is high, the operation reaction command value and the repulsive force are always selected by select high. When the obstacle state of its own vehicle is shifted from the region where the possibility of the contact is high to the region where it is low, the operation reaction command value and repulsive force based on the contact risk potential are preferentially selected. The controller respectively performs operation reaction control and braking/driving force control based on the selected operation reaction command value and the repulsive force.
