To provide a vehicle rack device installed in at least one of the rear area, side area and front area of a vehicle body so as to mount an item to be mounted at a predetermined position of the vehicle body and enabling mounting work to be easily carried out by a quite simple structure when an accessory (an item to be mounted) is mounted.

The vehicle rack device comprises a lift bar supported in such a way that it can be oscillated in an upward or downward direction with respect to a supporting pin as a center extending in a horizontal direction, that has an operating part at the oscillating end and has a supporting part for use in supporting the item to be mounted at an intermediate area between the supporting pin and the operating part. This device is constituted such that the item to be mounted can be moved to the predetermined position of the vehicle body by moving the operating part.
