Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle repair estimating device that can perform a sure repair estimate at the first input stage by making use of a repair estimate that has once been made.
SOLUTION: A digital camera 21 for fetching picture data of a vehicle is provided. From the fetched picture data, a damaged point 31 of the vehicle is specified. A mouse 23 for converting the damaged point 31 range to specified coordinate data is provided. A magnetic hard disk 20 for holding the past repair estimate data regarding the kind of vehicles is provided. The coordinate data and the past repair estimate data are compared with each other and a section frame for generating data for preparing the repair estimate of the vehicle from the result is provided.
