Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make difficult an illegal change of the stored running distance integrated value, in a running distance integrating meter for displaying a running distance integrated value of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: This running distance integrating meter D for displaying a running distance integrated value of the concerned vehicle 10 is provided on the vehicle 10. The running distance integrated value is stored in a non-volatile memory 21 of a computer 20 outside the vehicle, and the running distance integrated value stored in the non-volatile memory 21 is displayed. Thus, storage of the running distance integrated value in the running distance integrating meter D can be abolished and also the running distance integrated value is stored in the non-volatile memory outside the vehicle, so that it is very difficult to illegally change the stored running distance integrated value.
