Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a seat cover be hardly stretched even if setting a coupling part of cover pieces of the seat cover at a shallow position in a seat pad to receive an occupant body pressure.SOLUTION: There is provided a vehicle seat 1 made by bringing a coupling part 21B between cover pieces 21 of a back cover 20 in a back pad 10. The coupling part 21B connects the cover pieces 21 to each other by a flexible tying member 30 capable of tying the cover pieces 21 in such a state as detached from each other. The tying member 30 is retained in such a state as closing the clearance between the cover pieces 21 by a member's own resilient force in an initial state before the body pressure of an occupant is applied to the back cover 20. The vehicle seat is configured to deform the cover pieces 21 to the shape tying in such a state as detached from each other by applying the body pressure of the occupant to the back cover 20 with a strong force exceeding the above-mentioned retaining force to apply a tension in the direction in which the cover pieces 21 are detached from each other.
