Abstract:
To provide a vehicle state detection device and a vehicle speed measurement device that can be installed in a proper direction to a vehicle even when temporarily installed.SOLUTION: A speed measurement device 1 comprises a case 50 having an openable lid surface, and a bottom surface of the case 50 that is opposite to the lid surface has a fitting tool fixed to a fixing tool 12 of the vehicle that can be fixed to a plane covered with a number plate NP of the vehicle. Inside the case 50 that is a compartment between the lid surface and the bottom surface, one camera 22 and two laser output parts 24 and 25 are installed. The two laser output parts 24 and 25 can emit laser light to a lower place through an opening 57 disposed on a lower surface 51D of the case 50, and the camera 22 can pick up an image of the laser light emitted to a lower place through an opening 56 disposed on the lower surface 51D on the case 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
