To provide a vehicle suspension device, capable of achieving miniaturization, and facilitating mounting to the vehicle without the need for studying changes or the like of a shape of a vehicle side and a suspension layout.
The vehicle suspension device has a ball screw 4, a speed increasing mechanism 5 and an electromagnetic motor type suppression-force generator 6. The suspension device also uses an electromagnetic motor type damper which converts the linear motion of a shaft 7 of the ball screw 4 into the rotation motion of a ball screw nut 8, transmits the rotation motion to a motor rotor 29 of the suppression-force generator 6 by speed-increasing it via the speed increasing mechanism 5, and suppresses the linear motion of the shaft 7 by generating a force in a direction in which the suppression-force generator 6 suppresses the rotation motion. One or a plurality of components for constituting one of the ball screw 4, the speed increasing mechanism 5 and the suppression-force generator 6 is used as, in common, a component for constituting two or more of the ball screw 4, the speed increasing mechanism 5 and the suppression-force generator 6.
