A control device closes an outside air introducing port on the body of the air conditioner by driving an intake door (step S9) when it determines that a fan remains on (NO in step S8), thereby setting an intake opening on an inside air introducing side. Next, the control device puts an ion generator in a negative ion mode (step S10), and then air including negative ions is discharged inside the body of the air conditioner from the ion generator. The air including the negative ions is blown inside a vehicle compartment by being carried by stream of an air-conditioned air.
