Abstract:

To provide a vehicular collision detection device capable of detecting collision to a vehicle body in a wide range in the vehicular collision detection device provided with a first vehicle body constitution member having a closed space; a sensor for detecting the state of a pressure in the closed space; and a determination means for determining the collision to the vehicle based on the state of the pressure detected by the sensor.

The closed spaces X2, X3 are provided on a vehicle body 2 as the first vehicle body constitution member, and pipe members 41, 42 as communication means for communicating the closed spaces of a back door X1 as the first vehicle body constitution member and the closed spaces X2, X3 of the vehicle body 2 are provided.
