Title:
VEHICULAR COLLISION DETECTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012096562
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a vehicular collision detection system which improves detection accuracy as a whole of the system by setting two pressure sensors to different detection ranges according to each purpose.

In the vehicular collision detection system, which includes: a chamber member 7, which is mounted on a vehicle and has a chamber space 7a formed inside and a breathing hole 71a; a first pressure sensor 8, which detects a pressure of the chamber 7a; a second pressure sensor 9, which detects a pressure of the chamber 7a; a first determination portion 11, which determines a collision to a vehicle based on a detection signal of the first pressure sensor 8; a second determination portion 12, which determines a collision to a vehicle based on a detection signal of the second pressure sensor 9; and a transmission portion 13, which transmits the information of the collision to the vehicle outside based on the determination results of the first determination portion 11 and the second determination portion 12, the magnitude of the detection range of the second determination portion 12 is different from that of the detection range of the first determination portion 11.
