Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular fuel pipe protecting structure, in which a fuel pipe is protected with a simple construction without addition of any reinforcement parts and any modifications in layout.SOLUTION: A pipe protecting structure 100 comprises a rear floor panel side member 106, a wheel house inner panel 112 for rear wheels, a side body inner panel 114 successive from the wheel house inner panel 112 to vehicle rear side, a fuel cylinder disposed above a rear floor panel 104, and a fuel pipe extending from the fuel cylinder. The rear floor panel 104 has an extension section 116 surrounded by the side member 106, a through hole 132 which is formed on the extension section 116 and allows the fuel pipe to pass through, the wheel house inner panel 112 and the side body inner panel 114 and a bulging round bead 136 arranged on periphery of the through hole 132 on the extension section 116 coaxially with the through hole 132.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
