To provide a ventilation structure of an eave soffit, which can obtain desired ventilation properties and a good appearance, and which can reduce construction costs.
In this ventilation structure 20 of the eave soffit, the eave soffit 23 is supported on a ceiling joist 21 of the eave soffit via ventilation furring strips 22; the ceiling joist 21 is supported by a substrate 15; a ceramic edge-of-eaves cover member 17 with cog is attached outside the substrate 15; a continuous cogging groove 26 is formed from a leading end 25A of a top surface of the cog 25 of the cover member 17 to a base end 25B thereof; a top surface of the cog 25 and an undersurface of the eave soffit 23 are brought into contact with each other; and a clearance 28 is provided between a main body 27 of the cover member 17 and the eave soffit 23.
