Abstract:

To effectively use a medium-sized material which is thinnings, as a wooden backing building material.

In the wooden backing building material 3 which is a long plate body, one or more recessed grooves 7 for holding cob 2a are longitudinally formed on a surface 5, and a back face is formed almost as a plane. An engaging projection 8 continuous with the recessed groove 7 and projected onto the surface 5 side is formed on one long-side side edge part, and an engaging recess 9 opened on the back face 6 side is formed on the other long-side side edge part opposed to one long-side side edge part. The engaging projection 8 of the other backing building material 3 is thereby engaged with the engaging recess 9 of one wooden backing building material 3 to connect a plurality of backing building materials 3 adjacently to each other in one direction.
