To provided a ventilation system capable of carrying out ventilation in interlock with an operating condition of a portable type cooking means.
A weight sensor of the portable type cooking means such as a charcoal brazier is comprised by providing an upper box allowing mounting of the cooking means on its top face, a lower box capable of interfitting with the upper box, a compression spring provided in the lower box to energize the upper box upward, and a microswitch generating a charcoal brazier detection signal when the cooking means is mounted on the upper box and the upper box sinks downward. When a charcoal brazier or the like is mounted on the weight sensor, operation of a ventilator is carried out in interlock with the charcoal brazier detection signal.
