Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mix constitutive gas of respiratory gas according to a respiratory mode in which the respiratory gas is offered in response to pressure of the respiratory gas contained in a vessel by containing control of a respiratory gas flow into the vessel in response to pressure in the vessel and outflow control of the respiratory gas in response to a change in pressure or capacity of the vessel. CONSTITUTION: An outlet conduit 28 to supply respiratory gas to a patient from a tank 12 and a pressure transducer 30 to detect pressure, are connected to the tank 12. A control means 32 is connected to an oxygen solenoid valve 24, an air solenoid valve 26, a pressure sensor 30 and a solenoid valve control means 34 to control a servo valve 35 of the outlet conduit 28. The control means 32 contains an inlet flow control means to control a flow of respiratory gas passing through inlet means 16 and 18 by a prescribed method in response to a quantity of gas detected in a vessel 12 and an outlet flow control means to control a flow of the respiratory gas passing through an outlet means 28 by a prescribed method in response to a change over for a prescribed time in a quantity of gas detected in the vessel 12.
