Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical bucket conveyer for tea manufacture, capable of preventing tea-leaves dropped from an upper part from entering into the clearance between a bottom of the bucket and a conveying endless body when the bucket moves downward, and allowing the tea leaves to be naturally and immediately removed therefrom even if the dropped tea-leaves entering thereinto, and enabling the cleaning to be easy.
SOLUTION: This vertical bucket conveyer has a conveying endless body 23 installed so as to circulate and travel in a long cylindrical conveying cylinder 20 arranged in the vertical direction, and plural buckets 24 installed in the conveying endless body 23. A bucket bottom cover 3 regulated so that when the bucket 24 is lifted, a side near to the free edge may be separated from the conveying endless body 23, and when the bucket 24 is lowered the side of the free edge may be brought into contact therewith to block the clearance part S formed between the conveying endless body 23 and the bottom 24a of the bucket 24, and preventing the drop of a tea-leaf A which is the matter to be conveyed from being nipped in the clearance part S, is installed in the bottom 24a of the bucket 24 in the vertical bucket conveyer obtained by installing plural buckets 24 in conveyance endless body 23.
