To provide an improved vertical injection device which can precisely measure an amount of metal, and which can reduce or eliminate the leakage of metal, and which manufactures cast metal components.
The vertical injection device has a first chamber for supplying the molten metal, a second chamber arranged downward compared with the first chamber, and a first conduit for connecting the first chamber and the second chamber. The first conduit has a shutter rod inside. A valve head is mounted to the lower part of the shutter rod. The valve head seals the lower part of the first conduit. A measurement rod is arranged in the second chamber. The vertical injection device also has a third chamber installed vertically and a second conduit for connecting the second chamber to the third chamber. An injection rod is vertically arranged in the third chamber. Also, an injection nozzle is arranged to the upper part of the third chamber.
