PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical wind power generation system capable of corresponding to a various range of wind speed from gentle wind to strong wind to attain high conversion efficiency to rotation energy, a vertical water power generation system, and a control method therefor.SOLUTION: A vertical wind power generation system 15 includes a vertical blade 1, a plurality of straight wings 2 arranged concentrically, an arm 3, a shaft unit 4, a dynamo 5, a pole 6, a shaft unit holding part 7, rotation means 9, a rotational angle control device, a rotational angle table 14, wind speed detection means 17, rotational frequency detection means 18, wind direction detection means 19, rotation suppression torque changing means, a dynamo controller (rotational frequency control means), a power controller, and a connection part 24. Also, the vertical wind power generation system causes a flow rate distribution adding device to focus a flow rate to a rotational angle with high power generation efficiency to greatly improve power generation efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
