Abstract:

To provide a vertically sliding sash door commonly called "Yukimi Shoji" or "Nekoma Shoji", which can be substituted for a sash by increasing strength through the use of the metal intermediate rail, into which glass is fitted at the height of an eye line in a sitting position, the inside of which is fitted with a small sash constituted in a vertical sliding or double sliding manner, which enables a person to overlook the scenery of a yard while being in a room, and which makes him/her find the ingenuity and charm of a Japanese-style room.

In the vertically sliding sash door A, the glass 20 is arranged in a fittings frame body 1; a plurality of sash doors 30, which are provided in a vertically double-sliding manner and formed in a split shape by being regulated to a size associated with the closing of the whole surface of the opening α of the frame body 1, are arranged; and the glass 20 is fixed by the metal intermediate rail 7.
