Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stably maintain the quality of liquors even if the liquors are stored over a long period by using titanium as a material for vessel for liquors.

CONSTITUTION: A titanium steel is used as a material for vessel for storing liquors, and the material has a composition consisting, e.g. of, by weight, about 0.04% O, about 0.07% N, about 0.03% Fe, about 0.001% H2, and the balance Ti. By this method, the vessel for liquors made of titanium having no possibility of causing breakage and impact and free from the elution of iron ions, alkali components, etc., can be obtained. By using the above vessel, the quality of liquors can be stably maintained even if the liquors are stored over a long period.
