Abstract:
To provide a method that can evaluate the vibration characteristics of each vibration mode and also can accurately evaluate the vibration characteristics as a whole in which each vibration mode is synthesized.SOLUTION: A vibration characteristic evaluation method includes a driving step for driving a vehicle equipped with tires on a road surface with protrusions, a measurement step for measuring the vibration of the vehicle during the driving step using a sensor for measuring vibration, and an evaluation step for evaluating the characteristics of the vibration on the basis of a waveform of the vibration obtained in the measurement step. In the evaluation step, the waveform is curve-fitted by a function expressed as an addition of the waveforms of multiple vibration modes with different frequencies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
