PURPOSE: To reduce creation of noise, by a method wherein an optimum position, where a cylinder or the end plate of a bearing is securely welded to an enclosed container, is selected according to the vibration mode of a high frequency determined depending on the diameter and the wall thickness of the enclosed container.
CONSTITUTION: An exciting force of a high frequency at a cylinder 5 and a weld between the cylinder 5 and an enclosed container 1 is exerted on the enclosed container 1 in approximately iso-phase through welds 13aW13h located at equal angular intervals, whereby the exciting force exerted by each of adjoining welds is exerted in a manner shown by modes A and B on the enclosed container 1 such that the vibrations are mutually compensated to nil. This results in reduction in the vibration of a high frequency of the enclosed container, whereby the noise is also damped.
