Abstract:
To provide a light-weight and small-size vibration generator for use in vibrating a certain structure to find a vibration characteristic thereof.
The vibration generator comprises a vibration-applying unit (12) for vibrating a spindle (11), a pedestal (2) holding the vibration-applying unit, driving-means (70, 90) for driving the vibration-applying unit, and a movable element (8) disposed under the vibration-applying unit. The pedestal (2) has guide means (3) for guiding the movable element (8) so that it can reciprocate in the horizontal direction.
