To provide a vibration isolation pedestal suitable for floor face installation of heavy equipment with a built-in vibration source.
Mounting holes 6e for mounting tilting prevention members 4 are bored in four corners of a top face of an existing base 6, and anchor plugs (not shown) are driven in the four corners. Then, a vibration absorbing member 3 is installed on the base 6. To be specific, displacement preventing rubber 3c protruding parts of the vibration absorbing member 3 are inserted into through-holes 6c of the base 6. Then the tilting preventing members 4 are temporarily fixed to the base 6 by mounting bolts 4a for fixing to the mounting holes 6e. A pedestal body 2 is mounted such that an attachment 3a portion of the vibration absorbing member 3 is housed in a recessed part 2a. After mounting the pedestal body 2, equipment 7 is mounted on the pedestal body 2, and equipment legs 7a are fixed to the pedestal body 2 by fixing bolts 7b. Finally, installation is completed in a state of Fig.1 by fixing the tilting prevention member 4 away from an end of the pedestal body 2 about 5 mm by bolts for fixing.
