To provide a vibration monitoring system of a rotary machine in which a vibration sensor is attached in an appropriate installation direction at an appropriate installation position and which can acquire correct vibration data.SOLUTION: A monitoring device 5 of a vibration monitoring system comprises: a display unit 10 which displays sensor installation information of a vibration sensor 7; and a processor device 11 which processes the sensor installation information displayed on the display unit 10. The sensor installation information includes type image data expressing a type of a rotary machine 1 in an image, model image data expressing a model of the rotary machine 1 associated with the type of the rotary machine 1 in an image, installation position data expressing a recommended installation position of the vibration sensor 7 associated with the model of the rotary machine 1 in an image, and installation direction data expressing an appropriate installation direction of the vibration sensor 7 associated with the recommended installation position in an image. A processing device 11 causes the display unit 10 to display each of the type image data, the model image data and the installation position data such that the data can be selected by a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
