In this video adjustment method for projecting the video on the screen using at least three or more projection parts, photographing a displayed test pattern by a photography part to acquire the photographed image, and calculating the correction data for correcting display characteristics of a video display device based on the acquired photographed image, one or more parts whose projection ranges are adjacent to each other are photographed, respectively, pieces of temporary correction data corresponding to the respective photography parts are generated, the parts whose photographic ranges are adjacent to each other and video projection areas around them are divided into either of at least two kinds of an area for selecting either of pieces of the temporary correction data to be considered as the correction data or an area for separately generating the correction data, and the correction data of the area for separating the correction data is generated based on the temporary correction data.
