Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a video camera able to display picture signal other than a main line signal onto a view finder.
CONSTITUTION: A main line signal use circuit 20 processes a signal Y to generate a signal inputted to a VTR as a picture signal output of a video camera 1. A view finder circuit 40 processes the signal Y or a luminance signal or the like for a view finder 16 to generate a picture signal to a view finder 16. A chroma signal generating circuit 50 converts two kinds of color difference signals B-Y, R-Y signals whose frequency is 18MHz into I, Q/U and V signals whose frequency is 9MHz and generates a chroma MCO signal by applying orthogonal transformation to a subcarrier signal SC. A switch 82 selects the Y or a VF-Y signal synchronously with a window displayed on the view finder to give the selected signal to the view finder circuit 40.
