CONSTITUTION: When a photographer grips the grip part of a video camera, or looks in at a view finder 3, a sensor 14 provided at the position generates a detection output, and a servo system and system control system 13 supplies a power supply voltage to the view finder 3. On the contrary, when the photographer release the grip part 15, or parts from the view finder 2, the power supply voltage is not supplied to the view finder 3. Therefore, when it is not necessary to supply a video signal to the view finder 3 in a state setting a tripod, the power supply voltage is not supplied, so that a power consumption can be saved.
