Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a video memory device and a video server system, which can reduce the fluctuation of delay time, can reduce the capacity of a buffer memory and can reduce a wasteful load in VM (video memory device) or a network.
CONSTITUTION: When the video memory device 100 receives the read request of unit data, a timer 101 is started at every request, unit data requested from a disk 102 is read and is accumulated in a memory 103. The timer 101 transfers unit data to a communication control part 104 after prescribed time passes from time when reading is requested. Thus, the fluctuation of time required for reading unit data is made constant.
