PURPOSE: To provide video performance synchronized with performance of music.

CONSTITUTION: This video performance device is disposed in the communication 'KARAOKE' singing system having a voice reproducing means 101 for receiving a series of MIDI messages via communication lines and playing music in accordance with a series of these MIDI messages and executes performance by videos by using a display means 102 for displaying images. The video performance device has an extracting means 111 which extracts the information on the respective voices played from a series of the MIDI messages, a converting means 112 which converts the information on the respective voices to the information on display colors and display positions at the display means 102 and a plotting means 113 which forms display data for displaying prescribed graphics by the display colors corresponding to the corresponding display positions of the display means 102 and transmits the data to the display means 102 in accordance with the converted result by the converting means 112.
