Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a master tape preparing efficiency by discriminating the error generated at the time of recording easily out of the errors generated at the time of preparing a master tape for broadcasting.
SOLUTION: This device has an editing point database 120 which stores the time code of the start point of the cut of a video signal to be recorded on a recording medium 100, a video signal reproducing and processing part 207 and a microcomputer 208 which reproduce the video signal recorded on the recording medium 100 and discriminate the presence or the absence of an error in a field unit and an error rate database 140 which stores the time code of a field which is discriminated to be erroneous and the device has an function which judges that this error is the error generated at the time of recording when the time code stored in the error rate database 140 coincides with one of time codes stored in the editing point database 120.
