Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display good color video image at low cost by using a fine-adjusted horizontal synchronization signal and a still image.
SOLUTION: Received color video data are stored in plural video storage sections 1, a synchronization separator section 3 separates a vertical synchronization signal and a horizontal synchronization signal from color video data, and a phase control section 4 generates a phase adjustment horizontal synchronization signal and a phase adjustment vertical synchronization signal, whose phase disturbance has been adjusted. A storage control section 5 applies control to a dynamic image or a still image in the video storage sections 1 based on changeover discrimination of a dynamic image/ still image and an output of the phase control section 4. A display uses horizontal synchronization signal control section 6 fine-adjusts the phase adjustment horizontal synchronization signal for video display, based on an output of the phase control section 4, a dynamic image/still image switching control signal from the storage control section 5, and a phase reference signal used to phase-lock the video storage sections 1 to display an output of the video storage sections 1 onto a video display section 2, by using an output of the display use horizontal synchronization signal control section and the phase adjustment vertical synchronization signal.
