Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video type noncontact extensometer capable of displaying a test piece on a screen in a correlated manner with an actual test piece to be measured and capable of displaying a picture with the profiles of marks attached to the test piece made easy to see.
SOLUTION: A picture giving an easy grasp of positional relation of an actual test piece W to a test piece W on a screen is obtained by displaying a camera-taken picture in the same direction as the tensioning direction of the test piece W, while date-area cursors C1, C2 for showing positions of a plurality of marks M1, M2 are displayed in a superimposed manner on the picture, and one-dimensional profiles of the marks in the corresponding areas are extracted/enlarged and displayed in a correlated manner with the respective marks M1, M2.
