PURPOSE: To provide titled compsn. which has a low viscosity in the region of low shear rate, by a method wherein two kinds of vinyl chlorides having specified particle diameters are blended together.
CONSTITUTION: (a) 100pts. of vinyl chloride (co)polymer (pref. one obtd. by suspension polymn.) having a larger particle diameter (an average diameter of 5W 50μ), is mixed with (b) not more than 25pts. of a vinyl chloride (co)polymer (pref. one obtd. by emulsion polymn.) having a smaller particle diameter (an average diameter of 0.1W5μ). Examples of plasticizers to be blended are straight-chain dibasic esters, phthalates and phosphates. Pref. a cpd. having at least one hydroxyl gp. in the molecule (e.g. methanol, ethyl cellosolvex) is used together with the above components.
